The lock seen looking towards Bamberg. At this place the Main-Danube Canal (Europe Canal) flows in the former course of Altmühl river.

South of Gundelfing

I do not know the reason for the many dead trees. But I guess it comes from the water level that was increased by building the Europe Canal.

A former creek of river Altmühl that is cut through by Main-Danube Canal.

There are many birds.
